Iridium is pleased to announce the launch of its crew calling prepaid service branded as Iridium GoChat™. With value based pricing, 24x7 Super Off Peak discounts, and larger denomination cards with progressive discounts, the Iridium GoChat service delivers more value to the crew.
Starting 4 August 2008, all previous Iridium legacy card sales will be discontinued and the new Iridium GoChat cards will be sold. At the same time, all previous Family First dates will be discontinued and existing legacy scratch cards will receive a 35% discount 24x7. One additional feature will be released on 20 August 2008 GMT. From that point forward, crew members will begin hearing a warning tone and an announcement in English when they have one (1) minute left on their card.
